Bio: Hello! I'm a mother, wife, and lover of color, art, and fashion. I also choose to wear the hijab (head covering). For me, wearing the hijab and dressing modestly is not a form of oppression, but instead a way to express my individual personality and style in my own way. I won't say it doesn't have its challenges, but I'm willing to work with those challenges at this point in my life. I've always had a fascination with fashion, however, after having kids I found myself in a rut, feeling frumpy. I decided that being a busy mother is NOT synonymous with being frumpy and I had to get out of the t-shirts and sweatpants!! This blog is my quest to rediscover my fashion sense, and reconnect with my old fashionista self.
